1. Doi Inthanon National Park

If you think of the highest peak in Thailand, Inthanon would be the first name that pops up in mind. Doi Inthanon was declared a National Park in 2515 BE and covers the area in Chom Thong District, Mae Wang District, Mae Cham District, and Doi Lhor Branch District in Chiang Mai Province. There are many attractions and nature trails that you shouldn't miss around the area. You can use a minibus service at Mae Klang Waterfall to go up to the hill. There are also accommodations inside the Park to accommodate the visitors who need to witness the morning sea of fog in winter.

2. Pha Daeng National Park

Pha Daeng National Park (Formerly Chiang Dao National Park) is a mountain range in the same style as Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary and Sri Lanna National Park. The topography is limestone in a complex high mountain. This is the source of the Ping River. Therefore, it is biodiversity with 4 different types of forest conditions. The natural highlights include caves, waterfalls, viewpoints, and wildlife habitats that you should see once in your lifetime.

3. Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park

It is widely known that Doi Inthanon is the highest peak in Thailand, with over 2,600 meters in height. However, Thailand's second highest mountain cannot be anywhere except Doi Pha Hom Pok, located in the Dan Lao mountain range. The highlight is the mountain is covered by moss, and the topography is a complex high mountain stretching from the North to the South. The forest's general condition is fertile, widely known as the watershed forest of the Fang River. The charm of Doi Pha Hom Pok would be a variety of rare, exciting wildlife and plants. Sri Lanna is a Nation Park consisting of fertile forests and significant upstream forest of the Upper Ping River. With a variety of wildlife and stunning nature. The terrain is high and complex, the interconnected mountain range to Phi Pan Nam Mountain. Bua Thong waterfall, the source of the Seven Colors Fountain, is another highlight. It is a spring pond with beautiful emerald water; the villagers believe that it is a sacred pond. Mae Wang National Park is located in the North region of Thailand, not far from Chiang Mai. Mae Wang National Park is a complex Thanon Thongchai mountain range that stretches from the North to the South. The Park has unique natural attractions such as waterfalls, viewpoints, and high mountains. The climate is cold all year round, perfect for trekking to conquer the high peak in winter.

The Park is renowned for its deep canyon and Khoa Kad strait with the rocky cliff. The Park's topography is a complex high mountain, long mountain range from the North to the South, a part of Thanon Thongchai mountain range after Doi Inthanon. The origin of the name came from the word "Ob" in the local language, which means 'strait' and 'Luang' means big. Ob Luang is a specific name for the giant rocky strait with Mae Cham stream flowing through. The highlight of the Park is the spot to discoveprehistoric archeological sites and natural activities such as rafting, trekking, and kayaking. Those who like adventure are going to love this!

1. Chedi Luang Wora Wihan Temple

Also known as Wat Chotikaram, it was built in the reign of King Saen Muang Ma, the 7th king of the Mungrai dynasty. The temple's highlight is Viharn Luang, where the water holding ceremony used to be held, instead of Chiang Mun temple during the reign of Rama V.

2. Chiang Mun Temple

Chiang Mun Temple is the oldest temple in Chiang Mai city. It has existed since the early day of the town, built by King Meng Rai the Great along with the Chiang Mai city in 1893 BE. He dedicated the hall named "Chian Mun" as a new temple called "Chiang Mun Temple," a significant Buddha image of Chiang Mai "Phra Setungkamanee" or Phra Kaew Kao is enshrined, which received great respect from the people. There are two viharas in the temple area: Large Viharn and Small Viharn.

3.&nbsp;Phra That Doi Kham Temple

The official name is Suphan Banphot Temple. It is one of the significant ancient temples in Chiang Mai city, which was built by the two sons Phra Namg Chamadevi in 1230 BE to contain the Buddha's relics. But later, it became an abandoned temple. And after that, the community members joined in redeveloping until 2524 BE. Besides paying homage to the relics, another famous spot is to pray to Luang Pho Tunjai, which is very famous as a sacred Buddha image that can grant wishes to come true. This received great respect that many people come to worship.

4.&nbsp;Umong Temple

The Umong Temple or Suan Phutta Tham is located in Suthep Road, Muang District, Chian Mai Province. It was built in the Phraya Mungrai period around 1839 BE. "King Kuena Thammikarat" built a tunnel to offer for Phra Maha Therachan, the expert in Tripitaka, to stay. There are also important places inside the temple, such as a replica of the Asoke stone pillar, the outdoor museum, stairs up to the pagoda, Thamakot library, a Bodhisattva image, Dhamma picture gallery, Putthatham Sien Phaya Naga office, stone inscriptions, and the memorial museum.

5.&nbsp;Phra That Doi Suthep Temple

Phra That Doi Suthep Ratchawarawihan is located on Doi Suthep, near Chiang Mai city. It has been a Chiang Mai sanctuary since ancient times. Originally was a residence of a hermit named "Suthewa," which coordinates with the word "Suthep," the mountain's name. The temple was built in the reign of King Kuena Thammakarat, the 6th ruler of Chiang Mai, at the beginning of the 19th Buddhist Century to enshrine Buddha's relics that were brought from Sri Satchanalai. Every visitor who travels to Chiang Mai must go to worship the Buddha's relics. If you don't, you haven't arrived yet.

6. Phra Singh Temple

Wat Phra Singh has a full name called Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan. It was built in 1888 BE by Phaya Pha Yu, the 5th king of Chiang Mai, Mangrai dynasty. He brought the ashes of Phaya Kam Fu, his father who held the city of Chean Saen and put them in the stupa in this temple. The temple has prestigious Lanna-style architecture that is well-known. Phra Singh Temple is also the center of the heart of the Chiang Mai people, who have faith that many of the people constantly come to pay homage. Especially the one who was in the year of the dragon must respect the Buddha's relics. During Songkran Festival, Phra Singh Sihing will be summoned to enshrine on the Busabok, which will be carried around the town for the people to bathe in the water for the auspiciousness.
