2. Pha Daeng National Park

Pha Daeng National Park (Formerly Chiang Dao National Park) is a mountain range in the same style as Chiang Dao Wildlife Sanctuary and Sri Lanna National Park. The topography is limestone in a complex high mountain. This is the source of the Ping River. Therefore, it is biodiversity with 4 different types of forest conditions. 3. Doi Pha Hom Pok National Park

It is widely known that Doi Inthanon is the highest peak in Thailand, with over 2,600 meters in height. The origin of the name came from the word "Ob" in the local language, which means 'strait' and 'Luang' means big. Ob Luang is a specific name for the giant rocky strait with Mae Cham stream flowing through. Chiang Mun Temple is the oldest temple in Chiang Mai city. It has existed since the early day of the town, built by King Meng Rai the Great along with the Chiang Mai city in 1893 BE. He dedicated the hall named "Chian Mun" as a new temple called "Chiang Mun Temple," a significant Buddha image of Chiang Mai "Phra Setungkamanee" or Phra Kaew Kao is enshrined, which received great respect from the people. There are two viharas in the temple area: Large Viharn and Small Viharn.

3.&nbsp;Phra That Doi Kham Temple

The official name is Suphan Banphot Temple. It is one of the significant ancient temples in Chiang Mai city, which was built by the two sons Phra Namg Chamadevi in 1230 BE to contain the Buddha's relics. But later, it became an abandoned temple. And after that, the community members joined in redeveloping until 2524 BE. Besides paying homage to the relics, another famous spot is to pray to Luang Pho Tunjai, which is very famous as a sacred Buddha image that can grant wishes to come true. This received great respect that many people come to worship.

4.&nbsp;Umong Temple

The Umong Temple or Suan Phutta Tham is located in Suthep Road, Muang District, Chian Mai Province. It was built in the Phraya Mungrai period around 1839 BE. "King Kuena Thammikarat" built a tunnel to offer for Phra Maha Therachan, the expert in Tripitaka, to stay. There are also important places inside the temple, such as a replica of the Asoke stone pillar, the outdoor museum, stairs up to the pagoda, Thamakot library, a Bodhisattva image, Dhamma picture gallery, Putthatham Sien Phaya Naga office, stone inscriptions, and the memorial museum.

5.&nbsp;Phra That Doi Suthep Temple

Phra That Doi Suthep Ratchawarawihan is located on Doi Suthep, near Chiang Mai city. It has been a Chiang Mai sanctuary since ancient times. Originally was a residence of a hermit named "Suthewa," which coordinates with the word "Suthep," the mountain's name. The temple was built in the reign of King Kuena Thammakarat, the 6th ruler of Chiang Mai, at the beginning of the 19th Buddhist Century to enshrine Buddha's relics that were brought from Sri Satchanalai. Every visitor who travels to Chiang Mai must go to worship the Buddha's relics. If you don't, you haven't arrived yet.

6. Phra Singh Temple

Wat Phra Singh has a full name called Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan. It was built in 1888 BE by Phaya Pha Yu, the 5th king of Chiang Mai, Mangrai dynasty. He brought the ashes of Phaya Kam Fu, his father who held the city of Chean Saen and put them in the stupa in this temple. The temple has prestigious Lanna-style architecture that is well-known. Phra Singh Temple is also the center of the heart of the Chiang Mai people, who have faith that many of the people constantly come to pay homage. Especially the one who was in the year of the dragon must respect the Buddha's relics. During Songkran Festival, Phra Singh Sihing will be summoned to enshrine on the Busabok, which will be carried around the town for the people to bathe in the water for the auspiciousness.
