The walking streets in Chiang Mai are shopping areas that are full of enchantment, providing shops and vendors by the road for visitors to walk and choose many merchandise. You can find clothes, bags, paintings, crafts, dolls, local food, snacks, drinks, and many more you can choose from. The walking streets have received much attention from tourists from many countries. Let's see where it is.



 

1. Night Bazaar

 

Chiang Mai Night Bazaar is a renowned nightlife shopping destination. From the idea of a Chinese merchant in Chiang Mai, on behalf of the Unity Charity Foundation, that needs a space for selling handicrafts, weaving products, and handmade accessories by local Chiang Mai people. Including many restaurants in many different styles to choose from. Most of the visitors are foreigners from many countries to buy souvenirs.

2. WuaLai Walking Street

Wua Lai Walking Street is the Highlight of the province. Always crowded with tourists and Chiangmai locals and is held every Saturday only. In the distance of 1.1 kilometers, there are many shops, food, amenities items, and souvenirs. Most of the products are local and reasonably priced from the northern region. Besides the merchandise, there is also the 'Sri Suphan' temple, where you can stop by to pay homage and ask for blessings.

3. Tha Phae Walking Street

Tha Phae Walking Street is one of Chiang Mai's most significant and renowned shopping areas. Just like WuaLai Walking Street, Tha Phae is held every Sunday only. It originated from the project '10 Wonders of Lanna at Tha Phae,' the project was to have a walking street every Sunday at Tha Phae in the year 2022, which was very successful. As a result, it has been organized continuously. Later, it was moved from The Phae Road to Rachadamnoen Road and added more activities and performances at the Three Kings Monument courtyard near Wat Inthakin. It is an attraction you mustn't miss.
